Medically Challenging Cases, Research Reports & Quality Improvement 

Abstract Submission Guidelines 

Thank you for your interest in sharing your work at NEAR Conference 2025! We welcome high-quality submissions that spotlight innovation, scholarship, and real-world clinical problem-solving across New England training programs

Eligible Categories 

• Medically Challenging Case (MCC) 

• Unique or rare peri-operative scenario with clear teaching points. 

• Research Report (RR) 

• Original basic, translational, or clinical research—completed or in-progress with preliminary data 

• Quality Improvement (QI) 

• Initiatives that demonstrate measurable impact on patient safety, outcomes, or value. 

Presentation Format 

All accepted abstracts will be displayed as e-Posters during the conference career & poster fair. Detailed e-Poster design instructions (PowerPoint template, resolution, file-naming) will be sent with acceptance notifications.
